Personal training gets me in shape

Revenge has been a good motivator for me. I think that when someone is all of a sudden committed to self improvement, they might have something to prove to someone else. When a boyfriend kicks me to the curb, tells me I’m not good enough for him, I am more motivated than ever to improve myself. I want them to regret their decision. The best revenge is getting in peak physical shape. That is exactly what I did when my last boyfriend dumped me. I signed up for a gym membership. I also signed up to work with a personal trainer. I told the personal trainer that I was looking for an intense weight loss program. He told me that the best way to drop weight and tone muscles was to focus on the whole body and total health. He started by reviewing my normal diet. He told me it was time to give up fast foods and sugary snacks. I had to cut back on coffee, alcohol, carbs and cheese and introduce more fruits and vegetables into my meal plan. The training sessions were difficult and demanding. Along with tons of high intensity cardio, there was weight lifting, crunches, burpees, lunges and squats. I worked out with battle ropes and resistance bands. I ran and jumped and rode the stationary bike. We even did workouts in the swimming pool at the gym. After every session, I felt like I was going to collapse. I’d be out of breath, sore and sweaty. However, I saw fast results. I also kept going and set new goals. Thanks to my boyfriend breaking things off, I look and feel better than I ever have.
