I’ve gotten my certifications as a personal trainer and work out of one of the larger gyms.
I remember as a little girl, my father was always overweight. He was unwilling to exercise or change his eating habits. Because of his poor health choices, my father dealt with a lot of health problems. His joints ached. He suffered from frequent headaches. He had high blood pressure and trouble sleeping. Just walking up and down the stairs was hard on him. There was no way he could play in the yard with us kids. He never went on a bike ride with us. If we went to an amusement park, he sat on a bench and watched. Maybe the only good thing to come out of my dad’s terrible lifestyle was that I was inspired to do the opposite. I didn’t want to be like him. I was determined to take the best possible care of my body. I refused to become overweight or struggle to get through normal tasks. I embraced fitness. I decided to achieve the best body I could. My father passed away due to health problems from his weight. I now work as a personal trainer. I have spent my life focused on proper eating, hydration, sleeping and exercise habits. I have never drank coffee or eaten fast food. I don’t smoke or drink alcohol and I’m a vegetarian. I rarely eat out because I like to control my portions and cook healthy. I workout every single day. I’ve gotten my certifications as a personal trainer and work out of one of the larger gyms. I have enough clients to make a living and keep me busy. I really enjoy helping others improve their health, quality of life and self-image. I hope to encourage lifetime habits that will help them to avoid medical issues.
