I work at a factory assembly line that makes all kinds of central heating and air conditioning systems. This is a job I took because I was desperate for work when getting laid off of my other job of several years. Factory work was not exactly my thing, but it was something I knew I could do with ease. I used to work as a certified heating and air conditioning specialist before getting laid off from the heating and cooling company due to a business cut. So when the job opened up at this factory to work on the assembly line for heating and air conditioning systems, I thought it would be a good hold over job since it was related to heating and cooling in some way. It was really interesting seeing exactly how central heating and air conditioning systems were made at the factory. Knowing how to repair and install central heating and air conditioning system all these years was very different from knowing how exactly a heating and air conditioning system is made! I have been learning a lot just by working this job at the factory. Being on the assembly line at times can be a bit on the physical labor side of things, but I can handle it pretty well because I am in decent shape. I am still looking for a new job at a new heating and cooling company to get back to performing HVAC repair for a living as I should be. But like I said, this works for now.
