I’m almost thirty years old now, and I really thought that I would probably never get married. I’m very picky when it comes to men and I just couldn’t find anyone that I really connected with very well. Plus somehow it seemed that I ended up dating guys who were losers and who couldn’t manage to keep a job for more than a month or two at a time. Right around the time I had given up on dating, the electric furnace I use for heating my house went on the fritz. The temperature outside was really cold and the weather was cooling off more and more so of course, I was trying to turn the temperature up on the thermostat. However, the thermostat didn’t really seem to want to cooperate with me. No matter how high I turned the heating up, the furnace never kicked on. I went to the furnace room down in the basement, but I have no idea how to work on heating and cooling systems. I just made sure it was still plugged in! Then I went upstairs and called my local HVAC company to make an appointment. The HVAC technician that they sent over that day to fix my electric furnace ended up changing my whole life. I thought he was smart and funny and he was definitely a hard worker. He had been an HVAC technician for ten years already by the time that we met. After he fixed the electric furnace, he asked me out for coffee and the rest is history. I never thought that I would get married, but I guess I have to thank my faulty furnace system and my local HVAC company for sending me the right guy.
