Heating sources outside of forced air

Lately I’ve been spending a crap ton of money on our gas furnace. No matter what I do now, I can’t seem to make it last longer than half a year without breaking down. I’ve learn all of the guides & have done service more than traditionally recommended, & yet it continues to fail. It’s start to get crazy & I am incredibly tired of wasting our time on a gas furnace that has no real plans on laboring. Even for a brief while, I followed a recommended Heating & Air Conditioning plan that I found for both heating & cooling machines. This helped for a while with my issues however once again in the end, it failed. I finally started looking into other ways of heating that don’t involve the failing gas furnace. When Winter came, it began to get cold very quickly, although I had no plans on attempting to revive our stupid heating device for all that cash again. Instead, I started using practical methods like simply wearing multiple layers, adding thick carpets & using electric blankets at home. Happy with the results, I recommended this new method to our friends who were having difficulty dealing with their Heating & Air Conditioning machines. I kept using this method afterwards for a few years, before I decided to take a look back into modern gas furnaces. Although our method worked well at that point, I would like to see if any newer or better models of heating devices had finally come out yet. I’m not sure why I try, although I figured it was worth a shot.
