I recently set up all new windows in my home.
Because of the harsh Winter weather in my area, I needed to spend more money on the thermal pane.
I got Energy Star windows. Each window cost over 200 bucks plus I bought 15 windows. I had to save up for quite a bit to be able to afford this idea. At least, I was able to handle the set up process in my house to save a bit of currency. I was determined to get the new windows installed before the start of winter. For the last few years, I’ve been rolling up towels along the window boards plus putting plastic over them, hoping to prevent cold drafts from coming in. I also put towels under the doorways to keep cold air from coming in. I knew that not only was plenty of cold air finding its way into the house, but the heated air was absolutely going out. When the outside temperature dropped below freezing, the furnace struggled to keep up, and raising the thermostat simply put more effort on the furnace. It ran constantly plus couldn’t maintain a comfortable temperature! Our heating bills were pressing every Winter plus yet the home wasn’t all that comfortable. I was very concerned about the furnace wearing out quicker than it should plus possible malfunctions. Rather than purchase a brand new furnace, I thought about the windows. The current windows look way nicer plus are much easier to clean too. The window panes tilt and eliminate setting up a ladder outside.
